A garden full of flavors, a land full of gifts

Hidden behind the house and gently spilling into the surrounding woods, our garden is more than just a vegetable patch — it’s a gateway to nature’s abundance.
In the warmer months, you’ll find fresh salad greens, mint, flowering herbs, and seasonal zucchini. The space is small but full of life. Scattered across the land, wild edibles grow freely: strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, mushrooms, and herbs like wild arugula, sorrel, and dandelion — perfect for herbal teas or adding flavor to a mountain meal.

A patch of cultivated greens, a hint of wilderness, and the taste of the mountains — all just steps from your door.

The property is also home to a few fruit trees, including apples, plums, and a thriving kiwi vine that surprises guests every year. Majestic walnut and chestnut trees drop their harvest in autumn, filling the air with the scent of the season.

Pick, gather, taste — discover what grows around you.

Edible flowers bloom across the garden, from calendula to daylilies, adding both colour and flavour to your plate — if you know where to look.

Where bees work, nature thrives.

And just beyond the garden fence, our small beekeeping area hums with activity — the bees play their quiet role in this delicate ecosystem, pollinating flowers and adding sweetness to the landscape. Whether you’re picking berries, gathering herbs, or simply enjoying the scent of mint under the sun, The Garden and Beyond invites you to slow down and savor what grows naturally.
